David opens the wrong lunchbox at school. Will he be honest and kind enough to swap?
Page 1 — The Wrong Lunchbox
David sat down at the lunch table and opened his lunchbox. Inside he found a peanut butter sandwich and a shiny red apple. But David had packed a cheese sandwich that morning. This was not is lunchbox!
Page 2 — Connor Looks Sad
David looked around the table. Across from him, Connor was staring at his lunchbox with a worried face. His lunch was missing too. David realised he must have picked up Connor's lunchbox by mistake.
Page 3 — David Speaks Up
David took a deep breath. He picked up the lunchbox and walked over to Connor.
David says: "Excuse me. I think I have your lunch by mistake. Can we swap?"
Page 4 — The Swap
Connor's worried frown turned into a big smile. They swapped lunchboxes and sat down to eat together. David felt warm and happy inside.
Page 5 — A New Friend
After lunch, Connor grinned at David. From that day on, they always looked out for each other at lunchtime.
Connor says: "Thank you for being honest, David. You are really kind!"
