Antarctica

Antarctica is Earth’s southernmost continent, centered almost entirely on the South Pole. Uninhabited by any permanent population, it is the highest, driest, coldest, and windiest continent on the planet, with 98% of its landmass buried under an ice sheet up to 4.7 kilometers (nearly 3 miles) thick.
